jordan came over today with her mama, Jo and the girls had another great time together. Not only did they lay in Char's crib for a good amount of time just enjoying each other, but they had their first gossip session of many many more to come! Who knows what they were chatting about, one can only imagine...

school work....and more school work~

as some of you may already know or will find out soon enough, preschoolers bring home endless amounts of projects. in the beginning, i was saving ANYTHING and EVERYTHING the girls brought home...can you say pack rat...yeah, that's me!! so instead of driving my husband crazy and filling up his garage with nonsense, as he calls it (to me its precious) i started a monthly project wall. we post everything they bring home for the month and then take a picture... I figure pictures lasts longer, right? so far, it's worked out well and every one's happy...

first "official" playdate

so, charlie and jordan had their first "official" playdate and they had a BLAST! now, I'm not just saying that for the heck of it, I really mean they had such a good time together. we put them on the play mat and they instantly started smiling and making all sorts of noises. it was almost like they sensed eachother... what a bond these two little girls are going to have!

Our friends welcomed Kaylee Kathryn Ritter on Sunday January 6th.

I apologize if this doesn't work as well as I want it to, but this is my first attempt at adding a video to this blog thing... for all my professional blogger friends, please help if it's not working...

anyway, I finally got some footage of charlie laughing...with some assistance. I found her tickle spot and it's on her legs so in most of the video of her laughing I'm tinkling her! despite her being sick, she still chats with her little duck friend and little ladybug friend and manages to laugh a little...and snort a little too, just like her mama!

while we were in Big Bear we had to do a little shopping and we happened to stumbled on a leather store and found these adorable little moccasin shoes. I couldn't resist...now all we need is a little indian dress to complete my little indian baby's outfit.

*toast*...to a wonderful New Year!!!

I don't know why I do this, but I find myself constantly doing it. I wait and wait to update my page that I have so much to say and so many pictures I don't know where to start... So I guess I will leave it at Happy New Year to all our family and friends. I can't wait to see what 2008 brings all of us....

This was probably the most exciting part of our New Year's Eve.... a bottle of Dom in our PJ's watching a movie...until 9pm rolled around! we paused the movie to ring in the New Year, east coast style!! there are so many memories to remind me of the lucky year of 2007..to name just a few....my beautiful little Charlotte came into our lives! my best friend not only got married to a great man, they also welcomed a perfect little angel into their new family. two of my other great friends had little ones....the only boys that were born out of 11 of us!! my hubby turned the BIG 3-0 (they say 30 is the new 20...right, with 3 kids...) and we learned that we will be staying here for another 3 years with Dave's new job in the Coast Guard!! I'm not sure if 2008 can top 2007, but I say....bring it on!

The whole fam, minus the dogs got the invitation from our good friends JR and Nicole to go to Big Bear for a few days before New Years! What a fun trip. Not only was it the first trip the WHOLE family took, but it was the first time Hannah and Alyssa experienced the snow! Just like everything else, they were very skeptical about it at first, but once Mommy, Daddy and Auntie Nicole got down and dirty, they LOVED it. The house we stayed at was amazing and so cozy I could have stayed there forever. All the girls did great although Char and I are sick now we all had a blast and I have to say I can't wait for our next trip as a family!

On Christmas Eve we went to church where they told the story of Christmas with the children's interaction. Hannah and Alyssa were two of the many beautiful angels! It was such an emotional experience for me to watch my little girls be apart of such a BIG girl activity. My niece Shannen has been apart of this Christmas pageant since she was a little girl and now she is a young lady and it saddens me to think the girls are growing up so fast!

It's BUMBO time! Can you believe she is able to sit in the bumbo already!

Alyssa and Hannah LOVE holding Lottie and help me out as much as they are able to! What a bond between 3 sisters they have started! I can't wait to watch the 3 of them grow up together!

Now that I'm looking at these pictures of the millionth time, I can't get over how old Alyssa and Hannah look!
