It's a...

...GIRL...

So, we had our ultrasound appt. on Friday and she gave us the news that another little angel is on its way. If you look closely at the first ultrasound picture, the arrow is pointing to 3 little dots.... that's the GIRL~

who would have guessed that 3 little dots makes that! ;) It's so nice to finally be able to call her a SHE instead of an IT! I've always had such a hard time calling a "fetus" and IT...

Other than the wonderful news of finding out it's a girl, the tech ruled out spina bifida and a cleft lip. From crown to rump (not including her legs, she is measuring at approx. 5 inches and her little foor is approx 1 inch. As a Mom, there is no better news to know that the little one growing inside you is healthy!

As for me, I'm feeling great! My morning sickness has subsided (thank goodness) and if you saw me walking down the street you would definitely know I'm pregnant. This is such a great stage to be at and am only looking forward to meeting our little angel!

we have a lot of family and friends who live out of state and can't be apart of our daily lives, so this online diary is intended for those who want to be apart of this wonderful time on our lives.

this is NOT a website regarding 7th heaven. I will not be posting any pictures of hannah and alyssa relating to 7th heaven. However, I will post pictures of the girls and would very much appreciate it if our personal pictures stayed here on this website.

I hope to not have to put a log-in and password on this site as it should be a public site, but if it gets to that point then I will.

7th Heaven

Sadly, I have to report that 7th Heaven will not be returning for a 12th season.

It was a wonderful experience and a great show to be apart of for3 seasons. Even though the girls are still so young and probably won't remember it when they're older, they definitely shared something special with Beverly, George and the rest of the cast and crew.

we finally heard from the person assigning Dave to his next job and I'm VERY pleased to say that we are here to stay for ANOTHER 3 YEARS!

I have to admit that we are so spoiled to be fortunate enough to be stationed in California for all the years Dave has been out of the Academy. I couldn't imagine being away from our family and friends especially during this exciting time in our family's life.

.just a little reminder.

after all these pregnancies and babies being born, I've forgotten how small Alyssa and Hannah were. Looking back at some pictures of our little angels...

.16 weeks.

well, I'll actually be 16 weeks on Monday the 16th, but today I had my 16 week check-up with Dr. Feldman. I'm happy to say that baby yadrick is growing up wonderfully!

I've gained 1 lb in a month, 3 lbs total weight gain. As you can imagine I'm pretty please with that and that is the reason for sharing. When you start noticing that I'm not sharing that information, then you know its not something to be proud of!! ;) my fundus height (measurement from the top of my pubic bone to the top of my uterus) is 13cm, which I'm assuming is on track since Dr. Feldman didn't say anything and baby's heart rate is at a quick 145bpm.

next appt is in exactly 2 weeks, 4.27.07 to get an ultrasound to find our whether or not baby yadrick is a little lady or little rug rat!

after watching my friends, nicole and leila during the labor and delivery of their baby boys admiration is the word that constantly comes to mind. i've witnesses births before and have felt joy and love, but not like this. these women experienced something that is so foreign to me, even as a mom i am still amazed.

i was lucky enough to be at the door to hear nicole take her last breath and her last push and only seconds later to listen to baby hudson cry for the first time. then to hear proud daddy JR say, "it's a BOY". it was one of the most incredible experiences i've ever had...with no doubt!

i was actually with leila, her wonderful husband, her mother and mother-in-law in the delivery room when leila gave her strongest 4 pushes to bring baby frankie into this world! what an extremely memorable event to be apart of!

in both births I witnessed something you don't just see in every day life. i experienced PURE BLISS between two people and the little one they created, and the courage of these women was absolutely incredible! i understand the women have been doing this for years, but this was different. these past days i've shared with my friends, now moms and dads have forever changed my life...

thank you again for letting me share those most precious days.
