PRIVATE

I really hate to have to do this, but I will be changing the status of my blog to PRIVATE next week. I've just had too many strangers contacting me about Hannah and Alyssa and copying our personal pictures onto fansites for the girls. I realized that making this blog I would be exposing Hannah and Alyssa and our family pictures, but it has gotten out of hand. I will continue to disregard any communication with Hannah and Alyssa's fans. I am not trying to be rude but as their Mother I do not wish to establish a personal relationship.
To my family and friends, if you would like to view our family blog, please email me and let me know with your email address.
I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I hope you can all understand.

ANGELs game

angels vs indians
score: angels 9 - indians 5
We took the girls to their very first baseball game on wednesday afternoon. I don't know why we haven't taken them before because the girls had a bast. surprisingly, the girls stayed busy and were interested in the game the whole time... i think their favorite part were the fireworks and the 7th ining stretch when they sang, "take me out to the ballgame".

...expanding our family...once again!

we've added yet another element to our crazy chaotic lives
...FISH...
yup, we got alyssa and hannah their first pet. we figured fish are probably the easiest to care for and definitely easiest to dispose of if anything were to happen... the girls were very excited to make their houses match and of course they got to pick out their own...pink and red. I actually think they are really cute and I will probably be the one to become most attached. This morning the girls came into our room and told us they said "good morning" to them and they had a good nights sleep in their new home.
introducing BELLE and AURORA!

sitting up!

yesterday was a BIG day for Charlie....she sat up all by herself for a long time, well actually it was like 5 minutes....but that's a long time for a baby! She's been attempting to sit up for a while now, but all she managed to do was fold in half.... she's gaining weight wonderfully and she has her 6 month check-up on thursday so i'll have more stats then!

6 months already!!!

so i know i've really lagged on updating my journal, but to be honest it's been kind of nice to have such an uneventful life lately...
...all the kids are sick-free, the hubby is behaving and i'm not too stressed out. just the daily stresses of having a household of FIVE...
...the wining, the temper tantrums, the fights, the blow-outs, the nagging...
this is all normal, right?
i haven't been as camera crazy lately just because everything seems to be so "normal", but here are some recent pictures i managed to take.
our family of 5 (will that ever be natural to say) went to Hudson's 1st birthday party on Saturday and it was such a blast! we all had something to keep us busy....
mom had the margaritas, dad had golf to look forward to, hannah AND alyssa LOVED the jumpy house-pirate cake-singing to Huddy-pit of balls (why do i love saying that so much...), and of course Charlie had the pit of balls, which I really though she'd be way too small for but she loved as you can see in the shots i got of her in it...

mama and her girls....i wonder, if there will EVER be a BOY in the mix?

the girls in the jumpy house....they're still talking about it! does anyone know where i can buy one? they took a 31/2 hour nap afterwards!

i promise, she loved the balls!

she loved the "pit of balls"

passed out after a great party!

i sure do have one hapy baby!
HAPPY EASTER!

Jordan and Charlie after church....i think j was a little hungry!

lookin' cute...they still have it!

who can't fall in love with these two!

i'm so proud of my family of 5!!!

char's new hat

i am in LOVE with charlotte's new hat.

our next obstacle with char is ACID REFLUX...we went to the doctor once again to get some medication for her acid reflux. it's not something i'm too worried about, but i was concerned it may have been caused by the solids she's been eating. the nurse said it is fairly common in babies and it will go away in time. while we were at the doctor i had the nurse weigh her and in one month she went from 12lbs1oz to 13lbs6oz!!! i am crossing my fingers we have overcome her weight issues!

i also can report that everyone is STILL very healthy in our house and the girls' cough has FINALLY dissipated..... thank goodness...

.my brothers.

this past weekend i had the pleasure of meeting my two brothers jorge and jacob for the first time. i actually have 3 brothers, but jason wasn't able to make it. i've been sitting here typing and then deleting trying to find the perfect words to describe our first encounter and honestly i don't think there are word to describe it. for all of you out there who have siblings, you know what i'm trying to say...there's just a bond that you can't explain.

Big Bear with the girls!

Aa you all may have already read on the girls blogs, we all got together for a weekend and went to Big Bear. you may think that since most of us are mama's or are soon-to-be- mama's our night away would be full of wine and maybe a chick flick.....nope! we took it back to the good 'ole days of pre-baby and pre-marriage...It was really nice to get together and have adult-like conversations and get all our gossip up to date! however, i think next time i'm ready for the wine and chick flick!
thanks girls for a great weekend/night away!
you ALL made the blog!!

what going on in the world of the yadrick's

over the holiday weekend we had some friends over and look happens in a year... looks like we were all "busy" around the same time! (it must have been a cold winter...hehe)

char having fun in her little play thingy...
more fun...

don't they make a cute couple??? ummm, do they look guilty???! Ava chi and her little toy! She is such a BIG girl!

she HATES rice cereal, but LOVES oatmeal! mmmm.

gimme more!

I'm proud to say ALL 3 girls are 100% better. In the last couple weeks I've become an anal disinfectant! I use my little wipes every couple hours and wipe EVERYTHING down! At this point, I'm not taking any chances... everyone is happy in my house and I want to keep it that way! Charlotte has entered the world of SOLID foods and is LOVING it. She consumes 2-3 jars of food per feeding! yes, that is right she is becoming a chubs! however, i introduced peas today and she gaged every time i tried to trick her. I'm not giving up though.... i will persevere!!!

update on sickies...

.update status.
Well, we took hannah and alyssa into the doctors today for thier check-up from last week and the pnuemonia is gone, BUT they still are wheezing...To me, this is GOOD news. This means, no more anitbiotics but we still have to do breathing treatments. Dr. C said they will probably have to do the albuterol breathing treatments for another week and then as needed, but they will have to do the pulmicort (inhalant steroid) breathing treatments until April! But at this point, I'll do whatever I have to do make my little girls better and really, what's another breathing treatment?
Dr. C looked at Char too and I'm happy to say she hasn't had a fever all day. I'm looking at it at this point, it's another day down until she's better. We are still doing breating treatments, antibiotics, and steroid syrup. If her symptoms aren't any better by thurs I have to take her in to the dr office. If they are subsiding, I still have to take her in next tues. So that makes it ANOTHER dr. appt...
at this point, am I allowed to laugh at it??
**to all the new mommies out there reading about my crazy life (mi vida loca), I have one suggestion......NEVER put your child into preschool when you are about to have another child!

another trip to the doctor...

okay, i'm sure some of my friends who read this might be wondering why I haven't been calling, returning calls or even emailing.... this is why...

last week i took charlotte in for her 4 month check up and brought the girls with me because they STILL have a cough (mind you, they have had a cough since August...yes, August). Our ped. has offered many diagnosis (whats plural for that?) like allergies (so we got new carpet all through the house), asthma, bronchitis, the weather.....on and on.... needless to say, they STILL have the damn cough, but this time they had a fever too. So, back to the ped appointment last week. Dr. C listened to their lungs once again and gave the girls a breathing treatment once again and diagnosed them with PNUEMONIA.... So we filled our medicine cabinet with more breathing treatment meds, a inhalant steroid and an antibiotic.... seems to be helping, but the cough is still here...stay tuned

back to Charlotte...

She received 4 vaccinations on tues and cold symptoms aren't uncommon, but they aren't suppose to hang around longer than 24 hours. Char has had a fever since Tues (100-102), a runny nose and a gnarly chough. being the "experienced" mom I think I am, I've given her Tylenol and just hoped it was another cold and would linger for a few days.... well, Saturday night a new symptom made its appearance, wheezing.... so, being the responsible and experienced mom I think I am, I called the on-call Dr. and she instructed me to take Char into the ER because she thought she might have pnuemonia.... at this point, I felt so helpless and so frustrated that my 3 little angels have been so sick this winter. So, Dave and I take her into the ER and the attending ER Dr, who reminded me of Turtle (from The Northshore) proceeded to tell me he and his wife were never going to have sex again because they didn't want anymore kids and dropped the "SH$@" bomb to Dave (you just don't do that to Dave, in uniform, when you don't know him) ... diagnosed Char with a cold and sent us home....

So here we are to today, Char still had a fever of 102 and has been coughing up her lungs and just wasn't her happy self, I called the ped office.... Thank heaven we are "in" with the Peds. (The girls ped. was Dave's ped through his childhood). They told me to come in right away and I didn't even have to wait in the FULL waiting room. The latest diagnosis for Char is Bronchilitis...worse than bronchitis - 'better' than pnuemonia. She will be on anitbiotics, steriod syrup AND breathing treatments.... Ugh.

So, my days now consists of breathing treatments for ALL 3 girls every 3-4 hours, antibiotics, steriods, blow out diapers, bottles, spit up, crying and dancing princesses.....PLUS a husband! and we all know a husband requires more attention than all above...

I just hope that after my girls are better I NEVER have to see a breathing treatment again...

so, I apologize for not calling, returning calls or emailing...
